Session 1– A tour of pastel painting including sample a variety of soft pastel types and supports; doing a painting on two types of pastel paper; general discussion of basic compositional ideas.
Session 2– Continuing to work with Pastels on the support (paper) of your choice with the pastels of your choice. Guided work with suggestions, discussion of more advanced compositional ideas.
Ongoing Sessions: We will continue to work with the medium on the support of your choice with pastels of your choice and subject matter of your choice. Guided work with suggestions, select exercises to challenge your vision, discussion and presentation of more advanced compositional ideas.
