Paint Together in Pastels Continuing Sessions

Prerequisite: Either past experience with Pastels  or completion of the Intro to Pastel Painting session. We will work together to continue to build on knowledge and concepts introduced in Sessions 1 and 2. In session 1 our main emphasis was on introducing materials and exploring very basic mark making techniques.  In Session 2 we explored more basic compositional ideas, and practiced planning and executing a painting using student provided photos. We learned to evaluate reference photos for use in a painting and stepped through the process of planning and executing a painting. In these continuing sessions we will get together and practice our skills, add to our technical skills, do a fun exercise to reinforce ideas, understand more about composition and most importantly–paint, paint, paint! 
